Closet to Nails

Kuwait-Style.com welcomes new style editor, Noor. Let us know what you think of her post in the comments!

Now that the weather is getting cooler and we’re all preparing for what exists of the fall season in Kuwait, it is only natural to think of nail polish colors that matches the season and most importantly our closet (at least nail obsessed people like myself are).

Personally, I go to NStyle in Al Bustan Complex religiously since that is the place I felt the most comfortable in to get pampered. I truly enjoy their quiet and relaxing atmosphere, and the girls who work there are just extremely pleasant. I get french gel overlays for my fingernails, since I love having my fingernails “permanently” looking clean and shiny.

At NStyle I always have a hard time picking a color from their large variety of colors offered by Essie not even to mention the season colors Essie provides. This Fall season Essie is offering 4 colors:

- Forever Young: Not for the faint of heart, amp up the glam factor with this fiery tango red.
- No Boundaries: This juicy passionate plum is ripe for the picking. Bold and intoxicating, it’s anything but ordinary.
- Lacy Not Racy: A twist on a classic, this velvety vintage burgundy walks the line between naughty and nice.
- Tomboy No More: Transform into lady sophisticate with this red currant truffle luxe enough to satisfy any lady’s craving.

What colors will you be wearing this season?

You can visit at Al Bustan Complex, 1st Floor, Salem Al Mubarak Street, Salmiya. Call them at 25719050.

Reader Rampurple sent an email raving about the Kurt Geiger display window. They showcase their collection to full advantage. I agree with her. what do you think? Love it or hate it? And I’m curious, have you bought anything from them?

Kenneth Cole

The Kenneth Cole store in the Avenues is spacious, yet they don’t use it to their advantage. The clothes are placed in the same cluttered way as their Souq Sharq store. That said, I found a cute red dress. Other than that I was disappointed in their collection. Have you bought anything from this season’s line?

I must say I was disappointed when I saw the Paul & Joe collection at their store in The Avenues. Have you been there? What did you think?

Weekend MaxMara

If you love MaxMara style but can’t afford their prices, it’s worth visiting Weekend MaxMara. They have a younger vibe and their prices are within budget. I loved their long sweaters and below-the-knee dresses!
