I’m delighted that Barack Obama is now the President-Elect but all I could think while watching him celebrate with his family was, “What is Michelle wearing? That dress is terrible!” It turned out I wasn’t alone. Many of my friends were distracted by her Narciso Rodriguez dress from the Spring 2009 collection. Others compared her to a black widow spider, not the most flattering thing considering the circumstances!

It’s November, and I’m finally beginning to wear some of my fall/winter pieces. My favorite has to be this White + Warren cashmere cardigan. I love the curves of the cardigan. It certainly adds an elegance to a simple jeans & tee outfit. Pair it with a hot belt, pencil skirt and knee-high boots for a more sophisticated look. Love it too? Buy it here. Yesterday’s rainy weather gave us a taste of what to expect this winter. Have you bought all your winter wardrobe and footwear yet? I usually wait until the cold gets here. I don’t trust that Kuwait’s winters will last long and I have plenty of winter clothes and boots that are practically brand new.

I’m loving all the different styles of boots all the stores are offering up this season. From cute booties to dramatic over-the-knee boots, there’s something for everyone. My favorites are knee-high boots, but I wear ankle boots more. What is your boot style?
