$pend and $plurge vs. Steal and Save

Remember Zahra’s post on the fruity necklaces? Well, this week’s feature is about the apple pendant:

There is the Kenneth Jay Lane $100 Pink Apple Necklace (KWD around 28.600)

Au contraire to the GBP 6 (around KWD 3.500) the Top Shop Apple Pendant Necklace

So now tell me, which one would you go for?

Necklaces: The Perfect Accessory

Necklaces are a perfect accessory; they come in many different lengths and shapes and are paired with different charms. Unlike earrings or rings, through necklaces you could show your interests and anything you like, and without having to limit the size of it, like you would with a bracelet.

Urban Outfitters has always been a favorite of mine for clothes, accessories and random furnishings. They have never let me down, and the necklaces they have on their website are absolutely gorgeous.

Short Braided Chain Necklace ($24)

Delicate Tangled Necklace (comes in gold & silver) ($34)

The two above could be paired with a simple black dress for a night out. Or they could be added to any outfit to spicy it up.

Do you love California as much as I do? Then you could buy this necklace to show your love.

Golden State Charm Necklace ($18)

Or are you a New York Gal and a bigger fan of the Big Apple? New York, New York Necklace ($18)

Three different charms to bring luck in your life.

Kismet Charms Necklace ($18)

My favorite out of all of them, was this one, the Heart headphones to show my love for music.

Which one was your favorite?

An Introduction to DarUSHA*

Have you ever visited darUSHA?If you haven’t, now is the time! Their Ramadhan collection has recently arrived and has some great pieces! DarUSHA showcases designs from Indian designers. Walking into the store, you will be impressed by the selection of apparel containing colorful embroidery and distinct flavor of the Southeast.

DarUSHA’s also known for it’s great collection of bangles and bracelets. You all know how much I love those! They are darUSHA’s best sellers.

DarUSHA is located in Beit Al-Mazar. Some of you may know that there are road constructions going on in the area so the best way to get there would be to take Arabian Gulf Road and enter through the American hospital entrance, through the parking lot.

You can also take the exit into the Starbucks and Church parking area driving through the narrow road parallel to Gulf Road, as Beit Al-Mazar is located directly behind Starbucks. If you get lost you can call them at 2466570.

Below you’ll find some more photos of the selection available at darUSHA. Have you shopped at darUSHA? Did you like what you saw? Let me know in the comments!
