Winter Wishlist: Leather Jacket

Have you finished buying your winter wardrobe? A true procrastinator, I usually wait until the weather cools down before investing in a fun new collection. Here in Kuwait, you never know if winter will arrive! I’ve bought many of the basics, such as chic cashmere sweaters and hot boots, but there are a few wardrobe staples that I haven’t managed to find yet.

The first thing on my list is a leather biker jacket. I already have a gorgeous long leather coat that’s lasted a few winters, but it’s time for a change. I’m loving the Alexander McQueen leather biker jacket from Browns Fashion, but not the price tag! With our short winters I’m not willing to spend GBP2,375 on a jacket, no matter how amazing it is. Have you spotted any cool leather jackets on your shopping trips? Do you have a leather jacket in your closet?

Love it? Buy it here.

I bought a great jacket -leather- from Zara and some knee hi boots. Zara used to be inexpensive but they’ve raised their prices.

    I don’t think I could pull off leather jackets…
But I remember that my sister was drooling over a nice brown one in New Look the other day.

this is a hot, sexy piece, curves in all the right directions. then again, i wouldn’t get it because of that gold detail; i find it a bit limiting. i consider leather jackets a staple every gal must have in her closet, sort of like a burberry trench coat; they’re both classic, timeless and flexible i.e. dress it up or down. this goes especially for leather jackets since you can pair it with a lot of things i.e. it doesn’t necessarily have to be donned with black boots and jeans.
