Lana Marks Fabulous Handbags & Clutches

Lana Marks designs some of the most sought after luxury handbags using alligator and crocodile leather, embellished with precious metals and stones.
I’ve always admired her clutches. You might remember me mentioning how much I loved the diamonds in 2007’s Most Expensive Handbags post. Her Cleopatra clutch is the most coveted item carried by royalty and celebrities alike.
These clutches are strictly luxury items with prices ranging from $100,000 to $250,000. Would you spend that much on an accessory?
Of course with celebrities, price is not an issue. You can see that many actresses make a point of carrying a Lana Marks clutch. Both Helen Mirren and Charlize Theron won the night they had their Lana Marks clutches.
“For the first time in the United Arab Emirates the Lana Marks Cleopatra Clutch will be available to order at the store,” the Australian reports. The Lana Marks spring collection will be launching at Harvey Nichols Dubai this month.

My luxury handbag designer of choice is Marcela Calvet hands down. Her designs are so beautifully sexy and elegant. She also has quite an impressive roster of followers in the realms of royalty and high society. I am of the opinion that the quintessential elegance of Audrey Hebpurn, Jackie Bouvier Kennedy Onassis and Grace Kelly, would have been loyal (and royal) followers of this superlative designer. They exemplified class and elegance, two attributes that epitomize the creations of Marcela Calvet.
i think they are over hyped at first glance i thought it was embossed croc. VBH are far better looking and hermes also .. classics that are worth the investment

Ooh, I love the purple bag in the middle. I would love to have one or two of Lana’s bags, but those price tags put them waaaaay out of my price range. I don’t make that in a year, so I definitely can’t spend $100,000 on a bag or clutch.
2 month ago I bought a bag from Lana Marks in Dubai! But 2 weeks ago i walked around the street and it was raining and all my bag became rough and cowered with dirty marks!! so I want to chnge it or take back my money! What I have to do???
I agree with Yamilla: Marcela Calvet all the way because her alligator purses look so gorgeous (all of them really). It is my understanding that they use farmed South American alligator/crocodile versus what-ever type Lana Marks uses. That must be the reason why I drooled over the photos I saw at the Calvet site. Gosh I wish I had a higher paying job to at least get myself a real treat like the Solange clutch/handbag which looks so yummy.
