I lived abroad but I don't think I've ever bought a trench coat and I don't understand the obsession with it. It seems I hear about it every season! If it's raining it's usually cold and trench coats aren't enough to warm you when it's really cold. Plus frankly it's not a very 'pretty' item so ma ywanniss even to wear!
