Hi,

I find that Junaid has a good collection of colourdul and stone studded Mubkhars, but they do not have a branch here so if someone is going to Bahrain or Mecca you can order one from them. In Kuwait, you can try 'Amal Al Kuwait' at Salhiya or even Al Quraishi at Mubarakiya.

Question 1-
there is no place to study fashion design in Kuwait. Arts and design subjects are not really accepted here in Kuwait or recognized. There are a few institues around that might have very short courses but i've heard many negative comments about them. They over charge and their services are way out of date and plus you leave with nothing (i.e no certificate or proof)
The best idea would be to go somewhere else... Dubai and Bahrain offer great opportunites to study in the art feild.
I know this, because i want my major to be in fashion design but its not possible here. So to be on the safe side, Im studying business here and planning to travel after my bachelors to my home country to study fashion design.
I think thats your best option- GOOD LUCK!

Answer 1: it is best to check Kuwait university _ College for girls in Adailiya
They have some new majors offered such as interior design, graphics, nutritions and so on
There is Also an American University in Qatar (check out their site: http://www.qatar.vcu.edu/output/Page1.asp) That is pretty close to Kuwait

Answer 2: As for colorful mbakher, I second Yara.. and also check out Moroccan places such as Artizana in Hawalli, and the two Moroccan shops at the avenues.

I havent heard of Fashion design in Kuwait. I have heard about the American Intercontinental University in London and Dubai. There might be little "ma3had" or something but i think you just get a certificate not a diploma or bachelors degree. There are some majors very close to that in the Womans College at Kuwait University

a6yab El Qurashi and El marshod at el Fanar have unusual ones "different" ones. You can call them and ask if you can get one custom made for you
