Fashionable Reading
Published June 28th, 2007Do you enjoy reading? You may have noticed that I’ve added five books on the sidebar. This is going to be my Fashionable Reading corner. Each month, I will try to list a few books that I hope to finish reading and review on Kuwait-Style.com.
I’m going to include links to the books at the beginning of the month so that you can purchase them from Amazon and read them at the same time I am. In time, maybe we can form a Fashionable Reading Book Club and read the same book each month.
What do you think of the idea? Do you enjoy reading? Would you like to read books related to fashion? Let me know in the comments!
In July, I hope to finish reading:
- Fashion Babylon
by Imogen Edwards-Jones
- The Beautiful Fall Lagerfield, Saint Laurent and Glorious Excess of 1970s Paris
by Alicia Drake
- How to Walk in High Heels: The Girl’s Guide to Everything
by Camilla Morton
- Fashion Brands: Branding Style from Armani to Zara
by Mark Tungate
- Falling Out of Fashion
by Karen Yampolsky
Regular readers know that I have already read Fashion Babylon. If you missed it, you should check out my Fashion Babylon book review.

Hi i have two books on fashion you might be interested in as well, ok they are novels, but they are good and we can relate to them…
The first one i guess all the world have heard of, The Devil Wears Prada, and believe me its nothing like the movie ,,,
The second one is actually a seires of books by a writer caled sophie kinsella, she wrote her first new york times best seller “Confessions of a Shopoholic” then followed it with “Shopoholic Abroad”, “Shopoholic Ties the Knot”, “Shopoholic and sister”, and last but not least “Shopoholic and baby” each and every one is hilarious and funny with a fashion insight and each of us can find a piece of her self in it too…
COOL IDEA! You always surprise me
I just wish I have the time to do it…

I LOVED sophie kinsella’s books! I’m actually cureently reading her 4th book “Shopaholic and a Baby”. I agree, it’s one of the funniest books I have read.

Daddy’s Girl now I am determined to go pick it up. Have you ordered any of the books I have listed on the sidebar or are you waiting for me to review them? May I ask you a question? Where do you buy your books in Kuwait? I do not find all the ones I like so more often than not, I order from Amazon. Thank you for your kindness in offering to lend me the book. You are too sweet! I’m going to search for the other book you recommended. Maybe it can be featured in next month’s list!
