The Complete Guide to Sharq Market (also known as Soug Sharq)
Published June 24th, 2007
Soug Sharq is fun for the whole family. It hosts a number of attractions, indoors and outdoors. It holds the famous clock, shopping, arcades, and three cinemas. Many visit Soug Sharq to buy their weekly household goods from The Sultan Center. The mall has many restaurants in addition to a food court on the first floor. When the weather in Kuwait is nice, people choose to dine al fresco facing the view of the marina and Kuwait skyscape. The fountains outside provide a distraction for the kids, in addition to many playtime activities such a bouncing castle. Soug Sharq frequently hosts magic shows and competitions for kids.
Soug Sharq is a simple mall, difficult to get lost in. You can walk from the beginning to the end of the mall without tiring.

Where is Sharq Market? How do I get there? Where do I park?
Sharq Market is situated on Gulf Road, between the Kuwait Towers and Seif Palace. When you first approach Soug Sharq, you will notice the marina in front of the mall. There are two entries to the parking lot at Sharq. You can take the bridge which will have you closest to Debenhams, or you can use the other entrance into the parking lot that will have you parking near The Sultan Center. The parking lot is shaded.
Like the majority of shopping destinations, Soug Sharq is busy on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays and sometimes parking is hard to find. An alternative would be to park at the Soug Sharq Fish Market nearby. However that is not advised as it greatly reduces the limited parking for those who are visiting the fish market.

Okay, Sharq Market sounds great! Tell me, what stores do they have?
