Cupcake Boutique
Published June 23rd, 2007Tucked away in the basement of Galleria 2000 is a special store that has been garnering a steady following resulting from positive word-of-mouth from customers. This store has become one of Galleria’s frequently visited boutiques. That store is Cupcake Boutique!
Cupcake Boutique is filled with delicious items for every appetite. The name may fool you into thinking they sell actual cupcakes and assorted desserts. They don’t! Cupcake Boutique is a clothing store with most of its merchandise carrying the trademarked Cupcake design.
You’ll find adorable customized t-shirts with unique statements on them, the product of the owners’ vision. Most statements stick true to the Cupcake with slogans such as “Chubby is In, Thin is Out“, “Totally Addictive“, and “Sugar Loaded…Watch Out.” A wonderful aspect of the t-shirts offered is that they have various styles available, from baby t’s to long and loose shirts for body-concious individuals.
The t-shirts are only the beginning of what Cupcake Boutique has to offer to its young and fashionable clientele. They have dresses, long shirts, and a wide selection of bags. It’s the perfect place to shop for gifts as it offers an incredible range of clothing. For the newly married woman, you can buy a customized bathrobe. For the work out addict, you have a set of customized sweatpant collection, from jackets to bottoms. They also offer colorful gym bags with the trademark Cupcake emblazoned on its side. Cupcake Boutique also caters to babies, with cute onesies featuring adorable slogans and baby caps to match!
Prices vary throughout the boutique. If you’re interested in the t-shirts, they range from KD20 to KD27. Dresses can be found anywhere from KD35 to KD75 which I found very reasonable for something comfortable and incredibly cute! Some of the bags have sales on them so definitely worth paying a visit for.

lulu: but the cloths are designed by the owners themselves.. maybee the copied the concept but not the clothing items. Im sure the one in boston doesnt have dara3as/kaftans which are cupcake’s mainly sold items.

The CUPCAKE label is an original line that is designed by us here is KUWAIT. The name, concept , and decor is pure local hardwork. Now similarities may occur in terms of names. Our label has been around since 2005 and the one you mentioned in ” Boston” opened in 2006 ;”2006 I opened up shop on “Boston’s Rodeo drive” - 279 Newbury Street. ” We truely hope to see you in our boutique.

Been there, i thought it was just a little too expensive, but it’s good though.
I liked mostly the embroidered items…
why not use some Kuwaity/Arabic statements on the products ??
looks like a brand with the labels and all the details…
there is another cupcake store in the usa, too. it opened in seattle in 2003. cupcake branded things are very popular, everywhere. i wouldn’t say it’s copying. i think it’s just good taste!

IT’s the best shop ever!!! it has all kinds of clothes that can satisfy ur taste!! Trust me, go before everything finshes because their stuff is incredibally cute and and comes in all sizes!! i luv the shop!! and the girls that created it are Extreemly Creative..imagine building a business form scratch..it takes time, patience,and creativity which those 2 girls have !! i admire their hard work and hope u guys go and check out the unique store in galleria!!
@ Cupcake Boutique: Actually, if you’d taken a closer look at the website of the aforementioned Boston cupcake clothing line mentioned above, you’d see that Newbury Street *store* opened in 2006, and was JC’s 2nd retail location. The first retail location opened in 2005, but the brand itself has been around since at least 2001.
