Yves Saint Laurent Fabulous Bags
Monday, June 4, 2007 7:15The past couple of days I’ve been mesmerized by three Yves Saint Laurent bags I found at Saks Fifth Avenue online. I’ve been seeing them dangling on the arms of many celebrities, more noticably Drew Barrymore, Lindsay Lohan, and Cameron Diaz. These bags are so popular that SAKS had to place a notice on each order page stating “DUE TO HIGH DEMAND, A CUSTOMER MAY ORDER NO MORE THAN THREE UNITS OF THIS ITEM EVERY THIRTY DAYS.“.
The Large Muse Zip Top Bag ($1,295) has been around for a while now. It was really popular around this time of year last year. You couldn’t open a celebrity magazine without seeing one of those. I wasn’t a fan of it then but after a year, it’s finally grown on me. It’s simple and elegant. I still don’t think it’s anything special but appreciate it nonetheless.
You can find the Large Downtown Tote ($1,795) being carried by the likes of Jessica Biel. I love its trapezoid shape and zipper details. I think the black one is funky and it makes me want to get a leather jacket to match but that would be overkill. The white one modelled by Jessica Biel is absolutely stunning. You know it’s a beautiful bag when it steals the attention from one of the most beautiful women in the world.
The Medium Tribute Flat Tote ($1,195) is the one I really want. It might be the shiny patent leather. Or maybe it’s because as the current celebrity favorite, it’s currently on everyone’s arm, and repeated viewing of this bag make me want it more every time. Hmmm! Can you believe that I never bought an YSL bag?
I steal my mom’s bags sometimes for a day or too.. (in some cases forever) but I never wanted or thought of owning one! hmmm… interesting!

I owned one when I was in college though I’m not a big fan of it. The black tote carried by Cameron was the one that I admired among the list.

I have the first one in white. I loved it but it doesnt last
The leather and color is not the same as when i first brought it August of last year in Paris.
