I’m loving this sari-inspired dress Jennifer Connelly is wearing. It’s a simple yet show-stopping number designed by Balenciaga. I love its color and I like how she’s only wearing one accessory on her wrist and letting the dress speak for itself. Simply gorgeous!
There is one little thing that I can’t make up my mind about. They’re the shoes. One second I like them and the other I think she could’ve picked a pair more suitable for the dress. What do you think? Do the shoes and dress go well together?
I’ve been flirting with the idea of throwing an Indian themed party for a month now and this may be the final nudge I needed.

before I read your article, I look at the picture first then the first thing that i noticed was the shoes, i think it didn’t go well with the dress :), well anyway some people said that there should be something to wear to break the common but for me this idea is not acceptable ! lol

Lovely shoe selection Ansam. I would go with the metallic Jimmy Choo’s but maybe that would make it too matchy-matchy?

I agree! I thought of that before I read your comment. The shoes are nice, but with a different outfit. They don’t match this one.
