Closed: Topshop Flagship

Evidently Topshop Flagship has been shut down, with H&M slated to take its place. Topshop Flagship is the one next to CentrePoint and Starbucks, located across from Fanar Mall. Why is H&M taking over Kuwait? Isn’t it enough that there is a huge H&M store down the street in Marina and four H&Ms in the Avenues Mall?

Topshop had a prime location and great space to showcase all of their collections. It was the perfect place for a peaceful shopping trip. Now I’ll have to sate my appetite for Topshop by driving all the way to Avenues Mall or settle for a smaller selection of the collection at Sharq Mall.

I’m not a fan of H&M because I believe their products are of inferior quality compared to the rest of the products in the marketplace. I believe Topshop designs and quality far surpass those of H&M. So why this switch? Are they milking the H&M craze for all it’s got while it’s still hot in Kuwait? Whatever the reason I’m still sad that they shut down one of my favorite shopping locales. Goodbye Topshop! My visa and I are going to miss you!

I love the TOP SHOP!
I actually shop there (and the Oasis) for my work clothes! I loved that Salmiya Location!

H&M is really taking over Kuwait :-S

Whats new ? its a long line of failed Al Shaya ventures that include ‘ Tommy Hilfigure , EXIT , Veromoda , 123, Oltre , tammy , …i’m pretty sure soon they will shut down H&M too !

Happy Wolf what is a failed Al Shaya venture in comparison to all the successes? I truly think Topshop is in a different class than the stores you mentioned. I wouldn’t mind if they shut down H&M I’m not a fan.

Flamingoliya yes it’s still there. They just closed the Salmiya one.

Theres a Topshop in Sharq?? where??
Is there another topshop other than the avenues mall?? I loved that location.

It’s located in Debenhams and only a small section which is why I prefered the flagship store.
